Dlaba and Sons Protection Services is a trusted provider of professional physical guarding services, offering both armed and unarmed security officers across the commercial, residential, retail, and educational sectors. Our officers are highly trained and deployed to serve a wide range of clients, including high-value and sensitive sites.

We deploy a minimum of Grade C security officers, unless otherwise requested. Every staff member undergoes a thorough vetting process, including criminal clearance checks, before deployment to ensure reliability and trustworthiness.

Dlaba and Sons follows strict recruitment protocols, including structured interviews, reference checks, and verification of registration status. As part of our integrity-driven approach, we perform pre-employment polygraph tests as well as random on-site polygraph testing. Our digital fingerprinting and background checks are integrated with the SAPS AFIS system for instant and accurate verification.

All security personnel receive site-specific training by Grade A instructors, covering essential areas such as fire safety, first aid, and access control. Each officer is briefed with job-specific instructions, including procedures for incidents, emergency evacuations, and fire and risk management.

Our Operations Division conducts daily site inspections, officer parades, and debriefings to ensure discipline and accountability. Strong management-client communication is integral to our service model. Additionally, we promote transparency by encouraging the use of our whistleblowing hotline and have performance incentive programs in place, including rewards for successful interventions and arrests.
